(09-08) The Julie Mittens will perform at the Zomeravonden festival in beautifull Maastricht this friday (14-08). More info can be found on the website of the festival. Our Belgium friend Ignatz (thu 13) and local heroes Zonderland (fri 14) will also play on this festival.

(26-11) TRANSATLANTIC RELEASE: one edition of 100 CD-Rs on CUT HANDS (Venlo, NL) and another edition of 100 CD-Rs on ABANDON SHIP records (Brooklyn, NY). First one recorded 08-09-2008 at the Helderberg House, Albany (NY), the other recorded 10-09-2008 at the Golden West in Baltimore (MD) and featuring Lexie Mountain.
Each CD-R has its own cover, so that's 200 different covers. See HERE.

(16-11) The Julie Mittens (that's us) will be playing in WORM, Rotterdam, the 6th of January, 2006. See here. Also, there's talk of an acoustic set (!!) in Amsterdam, somewhere in December.

(11-10) Incredible news: not only is the 'March 5 2003' cd being sold by American store/distro Eclipse Records, it is also going to be released on vinyl in Italy and the world by the brilliant QBICO-label! It is going to be happening somewhere next year, so don't breathe until then.

(08-10) Aart-Jan will be droning away with the Jettison Family in 't Paard in The Hague on October 28. The night is hosted by Incendiary.
He will also be playing (on classical guitar this time) in Amsterdam's zaal 100 with Robert van Heumen (Live Sampling) on November 14th. More info here.
